New Feature Alert: E-Medical Certificates (e-MC) Now Available!

We’re excited to announce a new feature that makes your experience even more seamless — you can now receive electronic Medical Certificates (e-MC) directly through our app or email after your consultation.

Whether you’re feeling unwell or need medical leave documentation for work or school, you no longer have to worry about losing physical copies or making a trip just to collect your MC. With our new e-MC system, everything is just a few taps away.

How it works:

• After your consultation (in-person or via telehealth), your doctor will assess your condition and issue a digital medical certificate if appropriate.

• You’ll receive your e-MC via the One Medical app or secure email — ready to download, print, or forward as needed.

• All e-MCs come with an official QR code and digital signature, making them verifiable and accepted by most HR departments and institutions in Malaysia.

Why we introduced this:

We understand that when you're not feeling your best, convenience matters. This update helps reduce unnecessary movement, supports a paperless environment, and aligns with Malaysia’s growing digital health direction under MOH guidelines.

It also means better record-keeping for you. You can easily access previous medical certificates within your profile, whenever you need them.

When is this available?

This feature is live now and applies to all appointments starting today. Just make sure your contact details are up-to-date, and you’re all set to receive your e-MC.
